INTERVENTION

Complex Coronary Angioplasty

Restoring perfusion through precision, high-risk coronary revascularization.

Overview

Complex coronary angioplasty addresses coronary artery disease that does not respond to standard angioplasty alone. Using advanced guide-catheter support, imaging-guided wire placement, and specialized debulking tools, we reopen heavily calcified, tortuous, or chronically occluded vessels safely and durably.

Procedure Details

  • Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and pressure-wire physiology to guide stent sizing and optimize expansion.
  • Rotational or orbital atherectomy for heavily calcified lesions resistant to balloon dilation.
  • Bifurcation and left-main stenting techniques for anatomically challenging disease.
  • Drug-eluting stent implantation with post-dilatation for maximal lumen gain.
  • Heavily calcified or tortuous coronary arteries.
  • Chronic total occlusions (CTO).
  • Left-main or bifurcation coronary disease.
  • Multi-vessel disease where surgery carries high risk.
